Certified Flight Instructor
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain safety as top priority for all flight operations
Provide high-quality ground and flight instruction in accordance with approved curriculum, course outlines, and syllabi
Evaluate student performance and maintain satisfactory student progress
Maintain accurate student flight records
Fly tours and demo flights with customers as needed
Assist with aircraft refueling, moving helicopters in/out of hangar, maintaining hangar cleanliness
Work closely with students for scheduling using Flight Circle
Work closely with DPE's to schedule checkrides
Assist with other projects as needed
Job Requirements:
200+ hours total time
CFI
CFII (preferred)
CFI SFAR73 Endorsement for R44
At least class 2 medical
Schweizer 300 experience (preferred)
Basic computer skills
Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
Compensation:
Hourly instruction rate based on experience - $20 to $28/hour
Bonuses and periodic salary increases
Potential opportunity for turbine transition
Our Aircraft:
Schweizer 300 (instruction)
Robinson R44 (tours and instruction)
Bell 206 (power line inspection and LIDAR work)
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Saturday 8am - Noon
